Corporate Sponsorships and Partnerships

We work with individual and corporate sponsors to provide learning opportunities to students from diverse populations across New York City. By sponsoring a class, you'll be making a tangible impact on the computer science teacher gap and giving up to 20 students an amazing two week summer experience learning to code. Read on to find out more about our sponsored programs.

White labeled classes

We'll work with your organization to organize and run privately branded classes. We'll provide the teachers, curriculum, and location (unless you'd like to host the class at your company's office), and will recruit students from underrepresented groups in tech to attend the classes for free. You'll demonstrate your organization's leadership and dedication to computer science education by having the class run under your name. Each class will serve up to 20 students and help train two new computer science teachers.

You are a part of the experience

Partners get the opportunity to come in to the classroom and support our students and teachers. Do you have engineers at your organization? We'll invite them to come help students build their final projects. For other employees, we'll invite them in for panels to talk with students about their experiences in the working world. At Upperline we value sharing real world tools and experiences, and hope your organization will join us in pushing students' learning boundaries.

Make a difference

Learning the foundations of computer science and software development can change a student's life. It provides a new way of seeing and interacting with the world. Our programs instill a sense of independence, self-efficacy, and confidence in our students, and by working with new teachers we're also making a difference in helping to fill the computer science teacher pipeline. Providing rigorous computer science education to students across the socioeconomic spectrum is at the core of what we do - financial sponsorship increases the number of students and teachers that we can serve.
